AVO Security is an independent application published by Aifinity Solutions, designed to improve the security of your devices. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the makers of the operating systems it runs on.
2. No affiliation with third party brands
Neither the apps nor this website are affiliated, sponsored, endorsed or associated with any third party brand, logo or trademark. Where a name appears, for example in a list of breaches or DNS providers, it is used to identify that organisation and nothing more.
3. Third party content and links
This site and the apps may reference or link to external material for information only. We do not control that material, we do not endorse it, and we are not responsible for it.
4. Compatibility and functionality
Performance, functionality and availability vary depending on your device, its model, its operating system and your network configuration. Where a platform restricts what any security app is allowed to do, the features page says so rather than leaving a gap.
5. No product catches everything
AVO detects known malware, known phishing pages and addresses in known breaches. A threat first seen this morning may not be recognised this afternoon, and any vendor claiming otherwise is overselling.
A clean scan reports what was found at the moment it ran. It is evidence, not a certificate.
Email Breach Scan checks against breaches that have been disclosed and catalogued. Breaches that have not been discovered or published cannot be checked, so an address showing no results has not been proven safe.
6. Figures shown on this site
The App Store rating and review count are read directly from the App Store rather than typed in. Where an example is illustrative rather than measured, such as the composite list of what a first scan typically finds, the page says so where it appears.
7. Not professional advice
Content on this site is general information about consumer security. It is not legal, financial or professional security advice for an organisation.
8. Limitation of liability
