AVO Security

Terms

Effective 4 August 2026.

These terms cover your use of the AVO Security apps and this website, operated by Aifinity Solutions. By installing the app or subscribing, you agree to them.

Your licence

A subscription gives you a personal, non transferable right to use AVO on the number of devices your plan covers. Single covers one device, Duo covers two, Household covers six in any mix.

You may not resell access, share an account outside your household, or work around the device limit.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account details private and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Monthly renews monthly, quarterly every three months, household once a year. The price you pay is the price shown when you subscribed.

You can cancel at any time. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store’s subscription settings; if you subscribed directly, cancel from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by that store under its own policy and we cannot process them on your behalf. If you subscribed directly, write to info@avosecurity.com within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it.

Price changes

If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

What the software does

AVO scans devices, filters network requests, checks addresses against known breach databases and applies content rules. It reports what it finds and waits for you before removing or quarantining anything.

Some capabilities depend on what a platform permits. iOS does not allow one app to inspect another, so Smart Scan on iPhone and iPad covers settings and network rather than other apps. The features page sets out what runs where.

Availability and performance vary depending on your device, its operating system and your network.

Acceptable use

Do not use AVO to break the law, to interfere with networks or devices you do not control, or to monitor an adult without their knowledge. Parental Controls are intended for children in your care. Do not attempt to reverse engineer the software except where the law expressly allows it.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously and we will not always succeed. Filtering, VPN and breach checking depend on servers that can be interrupted for maintenance or by faults. Scanning continues to work on the device when they are unavailable.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using AVO at any time by cancelling and uninstalling. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why when we do.

Liability

No security software prevents every attack. AVO reduces risk; it does not eliminate it, and it is not a substitute for keeping your devices and software up to date.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you have not backed up.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
